Tech tip

Vutek printers use two (2) lamps, one on each side of the carriage. To reduce gloss banding and maintain equal UV dosage, replace both UV lamps at the same time.

Tech Tip

During lamp changeover, always inspect the quartz plate for signs of misting ink or dust. Clean or replace as needed

We manufacture quartz plates for Vutek GS Series printers. Typical part number includes 45074549. Price is reasonable and quality exceeds OEM component thanks to our use of General Electric USA quartz.

Do not be fooled by listings on the internet offering quartz plates at bargain-basement prices. There is no comparison between actual USA quartz and Far Eastern or Indian sourced material.
