The TCS CH231A incorporates a specially formulated metal halide chemistry containing iron, silver, tin, and cobalt iodides. This engineered fill produces excellent UV output across the UVA spectrum for demanding UV inkjet curing applications.
When printing on corrugated plastic (Coroplast®) and other difficult substrates, the enhanced UV output helps improve ink adhesion and curing consistency. If you work with Coroplast, our lamp will help.
Whether producing signs, displays, packaging, or industrial graphics, the CH231A delivers dependable curing performance throughout its service life.

∇ Technical Tip
When replacing your UV lamp, always inspect the lamp holders for signs of wear or overheating.
Over time, heat causes the spring contacts inside the lamp holder to lose tension, resulting in poor electrical contact and unreliable lamp starting.
Replace worn lamp holders whenever necessary, and always verify that the lamp is fully seated before operating the printer. A few minutes of preventative maintenance can prevent unnecessary downtime.
